The genus Microtritia (Acari: Oribatida: Euphthiracaridae) was represented by twospecies in China prior to this work. In this article, three species of Microtritia are identified, including a new species, Microtritia bicarinata sp. nov., and two knownspecies found in new localities in China. An updated diagnosis of the genus and some remarks on known species from China are presented. A key to all known species in theworld is also provided. |
